Hailed from America, Black Friday is usually described as a day of full on panic when flash sales and heavy discounts are offered by major retailers the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday used to be one day only a couple of years back. Now it’s turned into a whole weekend, spanning across the Atlantic and running through until Cyber Monday.
If you need to invest in some new threads, we’ve rounded up an outfit guide on what you need to buy, to see you through this season and beyond with a selection of ready-made outfits.
Throw on and go. Bag an outfit with a lower price tag this weekend only and get yourself some tracksuit bottoms, a premium Mennace signature t-shirt and a puffer jacket to bulk out your frame.
SOMETHING FOR GOING OUT
Heading out-out? Western jackets are a solid all-year rounder. Match with a printed shirt to add statement to your look and then pair with black skinny jeans. Easily versatile and adaptable, these pieces will live up to anything you throw at them. A solid outfit for the weekend.
SOMETHING FOR THE EVENING
If you’re heading to something more formal rather than the pub, your choice of outerwear must be key. We recently reported on best-selling coats and jackets of the season and the long wool coat made the shortlist. Again, team with a printed shirt but throw on some black Makavelli jeans to offset the smartness in a subtle way.
Dare to do double denim. 90’s grunge has been a huge trend this season, defined through ripped detailing, statement t-shirts and light colourways which lay down the punk part of the trend. In the past, the thought of double denim divided the nation, but the rules have become much more relaxed. Dabble in different shades or play it safe with the outfit given below showing similar washed denim pieces together without looking overly coordinated.
With a number of offers set to go live soon, be fully prepped for Black Friday 2017.
