Copenhagen Fashion Week is very much evolving into a fashion week calendar must. Aligned with New York, London, Milan and Paris, it offers some of the best street style around.
From bomber jackets, to double denim and loose-fit cropped trousers, take a look at a few of the CFW 2017 menswear highlights…
If you missed it last week, comfort was key within the street style agenda in Copenhagen, it was all about the baggier the better. Men’s fashion is becoming even more comfortable than before, expressed at CFW through oversized graphic tees combined with joggers (yes, the tracksuit is back and here to stay this winter). If you’re thinking of replicating the CFW style, add a splash of colour to your outfit to fight against the dull British weather or stick to monochrome for a minimalistic yet stylish look. Pharrell and Kanye have been showing us how to look effortlessly cool and comfortable for seasons through their relaxed style.
Double denim can be a big no-no if you’re channelling the likes of Justin Timberlake, but it was clear oversized denim jackets were very much of the moment in Copenhagen. Paired with simple tees and loose-fit jeans or chinos, take inspiration from the CFW style and add a fresh pair of trainers to finish off this look.
Scandinavian style continues to be a big hit worldwide, clean lines and simple block colours are essential items in any Scandi’s wardrobe. Heavily represented during Verena Schepperheyn, colour block is very much here to stay for SS18. Simplistic pieces in a daring colour palette.
We always consider trainers very much a menswear fashion staple, from Yeezy’s to vintage styles: stepping out in the newest must-haves that have people queuing, or the nostalgia of retro sneakers are a great outfit builder. An absolute necessity for those trying to catch multiple fashion shows.
